The Pagoda project at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is pleased to announce the latest release of GASNet-EX, now available for download from gasnet.lbl.gov. Recent changes are described in the ChangeLog. Most notably, this release adds support for native Memory Kinds (accelerated RMA to/from GPU memory) on the HPE Cray EX platform, including both Slingshot-10 and Slingshot-11 networks, and GPUs from both Nvidia and AMD.
The GASNet team is proudly celebrating 20 years of providing high-quality/high-performance middleware for alternative HPC programming models; the GASNet specification was first published in October, 2002. Such a long lifetime for a software project is only possible with a supportive community of users and contributors. Most of you reading this are a part of that community and have our sincere thanks for making this milestone possible.
