GASNet-EX is the next generation of the GASNet communication system. The GASNet interfaces are being redesigned to accommodate the emerging needs of exascale supercomputing, providing communication services to a variety of PGAS programming models on current and future HPC systems. This upgrade is being done as part of the DOE Exascale Computing Project (ECP). Note that additional features are coming soon, and are not yet present in this release.
